This is a bike I built last year. It turned out that the frame wasn't idealy suited to off-road, but it was a useful test bed.

Here you can see the crank and peddles which were new for this bike. Not only do they look great, but are also light and strong, two things I don't usualy care about.
Here you can see one of the fundamental design concepts in my bikes. I love Sturmey-Archer 3-speed gears! I'll never understand why so many people like gears which yank the chain from sprocket to sprocket. Yuck. So crude...

Here you can see a device I made myself. It is to protect the gear chain from knocks. The bracket is only temporary. I aim to drill and tap a hole, so I can bolt it directly to the frame.
Here you can see another of my unique concepts. It is a rear reflector made from a road cats-eye. As you can see, it reflects light even in the day. Compact, isn't it?

This is my latest creation. It is using a Raliegh Bomber frame from the '80s. Look how low the seat is! I like a low centre of gravity. This helps it corner like it is on rails. These two pictures were taken at dusk with a flash. Look how bright the reflector is!
